The Arts Centre drawing:- Sets out our target- how we would like to see Little Cassiobury in the future.
Internal and external alterations have been kept to the minimum, retaining the form prior to the purchase by Herts CC in 1938. The main structural work will be the addition of a lift, for easing access for the disabled , for the general public, and for the staff. There will of course be considerable “hidden” works in repairing and renewing the building fabric, updating all the services, making the building secure, and ensuring that all 21st century rules and regulations are complied with.
This could take a long time....we shall see.
